“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

-Margaret Mead

I would like to thank the person who recently shared a quote with me that perfectly captures the spirit of our organization, our efforts, and our cause. Thank you!

Over the past eight months, so many of you have contributed in meaningful ways. Each person has played an important role in this journey. Now, we must see it through to the end.

We cleared a major hurdle with the decision at the Middletown Planning Board Hearing on August 6th—but our work isn’t finished yet. There are still a few more steps to take before we achieve our ultimate goal.

One of the most important steps is meeting our financial obligations. Our attorney, Stuart Lieberman, along with our environmental expert, Irv Cohen, did an outstanding job. Their experience, expertise, and dedication were key to our success at the August Planning Board meeting.

Since then, we’ve held two fundraising events. The first met our goal, and the second surpassed it—thank you so much!

Today, we are launching our third fundraising drive. Our goal is to raise $2,500 by August 25th. Reaching this target will bring us very close to fulfilling our total fundraising goal and covering the costs incurred since the Planning Board hearings began in February.

Many of you have already donated—thank you again! If you’re able, we ask you to give just a little more to help us meet our final goal. And if you haven’t donated yet, now is the perfect time.

You can donate through our website. 100% of your donation goes directly to us—Zeffy does not take any fees unless you choose to support their platform. You may also send a check directly to:

Together, this group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world—and keep our neighborhood a great place to live.

With heartfelt thanks,
Andy Clark and the Leadership Team
